Zeta Tau Omega Educational Foundation, of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc was adopted by the Executive board members on November 30, 2001.

 The foundation membership was open to any members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and there were 5 members that incorporated the foundation.

 In 2009 the foundation name was changed to Ivy Educational Foundation, Inc.
